Smile Contact EX Dry are eye drops for contact lens wearers from the Japanese company Lion. Smile Contact EX Drytect are eye drops designed for contact lens wearers—soft, hard, and O₂ lenses. The formula was developed by Lion Corporation and is designed to effectively alleviate the symptoms of dry eyes and discomfort when wearing lenses.

Key features:

  • ultra-thick "thick veil" formula containing hypromellose — a high-viscosity component that reduces tear film evaporation and prolongs the feeling of moisture,
  • protective ingredient — sodium chondroitin sulfate — helps protect the cornea against micro-damage caused by lens friction or dryness,
  • minerals: potassium (KCl) and sodium (NaCl) — complement the composition of the tear film,
  • preservative-free formula — does not contain typical preservatives such as benzikonium chloride (BAK) or sorbate potassium,
  • Compatible with contact lenses - can be used both with and without contact lenses.

Indications:

  • Feeling of dryness or grit under contact lenses,
  • Feeling of contact lenses sticking to the eye (so-called "sticky lens"),
  • Eye fatigue, blurred vision, or excess discharge,
  • Need for quick hydration in low humidity conditions (air conditioning, heating, computer work).

Smile Contact EX Drytect is a solid option for contact lens wearers struggling with dryness or the feeling of lenses "sticking." Thanks to its thick formula and protective ingredients, it will help refresh and moisturize your eyes, reducing the discomfort associated with wearing lenses in demanding conditions.

Capacity: 12 ml.

Actives:

  • Hypromellose (high-viscosity moisturizing agent) 0.3g
  • Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate (corneal protective agent) 0.5g
  • Potassium Chloride (mineral component) 0.05g
  • Sodium Chloride (mineral component) 0.3g

Other: Sodium Hyaluronate, Tromethamine, Boric Acid, Borax, Disodium EDTA, Propylene Glycol, L-Menthol.

How to use:

  1. Read the product leaflet carefully (manufacturer's instructions) before use.
  2. Ensure your hands are clean.
  3. Do not use the drops if they become cloudy.
  4. Insert 1–2 drops into each eye, up to 3–6 times a day, preferably after tilting your head slightly and pulling your lower eyelid down.
  5. Blink a few times to evenly distribute the drops across the corneal surface.
  6. Also use when inserting or wearing contact lenses - no need to remove them.
  7. Use the product with caution – excessive use may lead to undesirable effects (e.g., conjunctival hyperreactivity).

Contraindications:

  • Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. Do not touch the eye with the tip of the bottle.
  • If symptoms (burning, redness, pain, blurred vision) worsen or persist for more than 48 hours, discontinue use and consult an ophthalmologist.
  • This product is not intended for use while wearing soft or colored contact lenses. If you wear them, remove the lens, apply the drops, wait, and only then insert the lens.
  • Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.

Precautions:

1. The following people should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.

(1) People currently being treated by a doctor.

(2) People who have previously experienced allergic reactions to drops, etc.

(3) People with the following symptoms: severe eye pain.

(4) People diagnosed with: glaucoma.

2. If the following symptoms occur after using the drops, these may be side effects, so discontinue use immediately and consult your doctor or pharmacist, reading the leaflet carefully.

  • Skin: rash, redness, itching.
  • Eyes: redness, itching, swelling, stinging pain.

3. Discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist, referring to the enclosed leaflet, if the following symptoms occur:

(1) Blurred vision persists.

(2) Symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use.

Notes:

(1) Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store in a cool place, out of direct sunlight.

(2) To maintain quality, do not store in high temperature places (above 40°C), such as inside a car or near a heater.

(3) After use, close the cap tightly and store away from fluorescent light.

(4) Do not transfer to another container. (This may lead to misuse or a change in quality.)

(5) Do not share with others.

(6) Do not use the product after the expiration date (printed on the outer packaging). Even if the expiration date has not yet passed, after opening, please follow the storage and handling instructions and use the product within 1-2 months.

(7) Depending on storage conditions, crystals from the ingredients may form on the tip of the container or inside the cap. If this occurs, gently wipe them with clean gauze or similar material before use.

(8) Do not use the container with anything other than its contents.

The Japanese market is very dynamic and if for some reason a product is not available, you will be informed within 24 hours of ordering.

How can I place an order?

Don't worry, it's very easy! Follow the instructions below to quickly place your order.

  1. If this is your first order, please create account a Japanstore shop. If you already have an account log in with your email and password.
  2. Add the products of your choice to your shopping cart.
  3. After choosing your products you can see them in your shopping cart. There you can change the quantity of your products or remove them if necessary.
  4. If you have a promotional code, you can enter it in the "Vouchers" field. Do not forget to press "OK". The discount will be automatically deducted from your total order amount.
  5. Select your delivery method.
  6. NOTE: Remember to check the delivery address before you confirm your order.
  7. Finalize your order by choosing PayPal payment method. Your order has been accepted. You will receive an order confirmation by email.
